How to measure distance travelled
Web22 aug. 2024 · A simple way of doing this is to measure the speed at fixed intervals, every 5 seconds for example. Multiply the speed by the duration and you have to distance traveled during that interval. Add that interval distance to the total and you have the total distance. I assume the speed is constant during the interval. http://www.networkforeurope.eu/files/File/downloads/A%20Practical%20Guide%20to%20Measuring%20Soft%20Outcomes%20and%20Distance%20Travelled%20-%20Guidance%20Document%202403.pdf

Web3 feb. 2015 · The circumference of the circle 1 is 2pi*r = 2pi*2 = 4pi. Point A on circle 1 is touching point B which is on circle 2. This is the initial state. When circle 1 rolls around circle 2, point A will travel 4pi units along circle 2. When point A gets back to touching circle 2, it will be 4pi units away from point B if you measure just along the ... WebThe total distance travelled by an entity is just the sum of the distances travelled each time the entity moves. For the sake of simplicity, you can compute the distance in the Update MonoBehaviour function. However, keep in mind that Vector3.Distance is "costly". If you have many entities, you should find a way to optimize the computation.
Web4 jan. 2024 · At 4km/hr, which is an ‘average’ speed, it will take you 1½ minutes to cover each 100 metres, so a leg of 700 metres should take you 10½ minutes to walk. Again, as with pacing, this will be affected by your personal speed, slopes, poor underfoot conditions and other factors, so you will have to adjust your time accordingly.
