Both are going to be 35spline. The front axle is the same as stock width, the rear axle is about 3 inches wider. Both have 1350 Pinion Yoke upgrades. I have had 4.88, 5.13, and 5.38 gears break in axles from all 3 manufacturers. In no way is it the axle manufacturers fault that the gears are breaking.
WebJun 6, 2014 · The Hi9 is a true purpose built 9" with a high pinion. Even Currie says not to use there diff in heavy or high powered rigs. It was made for little CJ5s.
