WebAug 2024. Cultus lake used to be a beautiful lake about 15 to 20 years ago. In recent years the park has become a tourist trap and parking is extremely limited. It is a very small lake that is polluted with lots of gross vegetation in the water and sewage runoff from nearby campgrounds/houses and not to mention all the goose crap on the beaches.
